Brilliant run tonight, 9 miles in calm and very cold. Saw the sunset from a very high hill over The Old Man of Hoy, and the view was amazing!! Happy Days!
OOOH and Eldest Junior got the most amazing School Report ever......glad she saves the attitiude for home!!!
Emmy - get some triple strength horseradish and garlic tablets. My friend swears by them, takes them daily in winter, and doubles the dose when someone around her gets sick, hasn't had a cold/flu in 7 years!!

For anyone staying around/near the arc du triumphe, there will most likely be liquid and food consumption occuring mid-afternoonish. I don't have time to plan it at the moment but I'll look into it closer to the time so we don't end up wandering around aimlessly while my beer gets emptier and emptier!!! RIGHT, DLR!!!
Emmy, if DLR scares you too much you can drop your stuff at my hotel. We'll probably be running about the same time too.
oh and who else is having the annual giggle at the Paris marathon email's tentative and evocative use of the english language?

Jane - Earlier the better. And just remember the three golden tickets you need to pick up your bib: medical certificate, passport and convocation (download and print from your registration page).
RS - I'm sure we've all had a "disagreement" in the latter stages of a marathon!
