Getting Started

Well tonight's the night...or maybe tomorrow will be the morning.

So far my running has been at the gym as opposed to out and around the village where I live.  For some reason I'm more concious about heading out than I have ever been the point where it's stopping me heading out.

Will have to grab a wig and sort my act together!  I'm planning that dusk tonight or first thing tomorrow is likely to be the best idea for somebody who doesn't want to be seen.



  • Go out naked for your first run tonight then all the rest will be easy after that!

  • Don't be embarassed: you will still be running better than everyone at home on the sofa.


    Or alternatively you could wear non-running clothes and pretend that you are late for something...

  • be proud!

    there's no shame in getting off ones backside and striving for a healthier lifestyle.

  • Thanks for the words of encouragement!  I did get out and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be....but it was almost dark image

    I used to feel a bit self conscious but the more you do it the easier it gets. You'll gain confidence as you improve.
