  • Thanks K8. I remember that name from articles in RW. Does he still write for them sometimes? I wondering if you have just decided to give an impartial view of the book or do you have some connection to it?
  • Bought this for kindle last week..... bugger!

  • Reminds me that I have that Town of Runners DVD to watch too. Has anyone seen it yet?
  • Thank you - just downloaded it

  • image It's not my review - it's the one given by Amazon on my daily deals email. I only had a couple of minutes to post before I went to work so copied and pasted.

But I have read it - and enjoyed it. It cost me £7 a couple of months ago.

  • Me too...just finished reading it. Really interesting read and goes a long way to explaining what makes them so good. No magic potion, just a unique mix of nature and nuture.
  • Just noticed this is 99p on amazon today. just sharing.

  • Thanks Johnny. Will buy it later image
  • Ooh, thanks.

  • Enjoyed the insight into the Kenyan runners, but the author is missing any form of backbone and gives up on just about everything he tries.

Although there are some very good parts that make the book worth reading, especially for 99p, overall its a story of a bloke wasting a fantastic opportunity.
