Dear All,
Its been a long while since I posted a message on this forum, but I am looking to get back into running again with yet another London marathon as the aim. At present I am working on the road as a salesperson and smoke 20 fags a day, drink too much beer and have not jogged for over 3 months! Not the best, but at least I know its time to get back into my running. I will be posting from time to time, so please be kind and gentle!

Don't forget to keep your running gear in the car, then you'll have no excuse when the feeling grabs you.
Do you stay in hotels that have sports facilities? - a gentle 15 mins and a shower is far better than crashing on the bed hopping between Sky channels.
If you have a regular patch why not see if you can find the local leasure centres - it's getting dark earlier now so, if you don't know the areas too well you're likely to give yourself excuses if you don't start with something organised first (of course if you can set your own schedule a mid morning jog before that tough sale will work wonders.

Glad to see your Jubilee 10k experience has not put you off completely. Is Mrs A still running too?
I have struggled a bit recently, and have just about put in enough miles to do the GNR. Only time will tell if it's enough!!

Welcome back- same mayhem, with new faces.
I will try to get back into running, but I really dont seem to have the drive anymore! Lets hope I can sort myself out.
