Chips and mushy peas. As a kid I'd always say dinner was at midday - these days depends who I'm talking to but in my head dinner is still midday, tea is at 5-6pm, if I'm eating at 7-8 it's because I've missed my tea. My local is £1.60 a pint and anything much over £2.20 I think is expensive.
Scotland is beyond the wall where the wildlings live.
Passport checks at Coldstream.
Dinner is midday, tea in the evening, and supper before bed. Salt and vinegar on chips (and whatever random food item has been battered and deep fried to go with them) No idea what a pint costs. They're too difficult to drink from the brown paper bag.
