Hi. Sorry - I know that I have sung the praise of Parkrun before (and posted a film of me marshaling). I just wanted to say that this morning was, I felt, a perfect example of the enormous community spirit that these events can foster. It transpires that one of those who died in the recent Nepal air crash was a local man whose main hobby was running. He had run in our Parkrun on a number of occassions (including taking part in the first one). Anyway, around 400 runners participated in a minutes silence for him, this morning and I have to admit that the occassion was very moving indeed. Rest in peace, Raymond.
