Hi
Having been on a training camp weekend previously i was left thinking that im sure i could do a better job myself. Was just wondering on the level of interest though?
Was thinking of renting a large youth hostel in Cornwall and having a long weekend break (Fri - Sun) with loads of running, plus spending the other time in the company of runners. I know some absolutely fantastic runs that would leave you inspired and invigorated. I would organise pacing groups so that you can run with someone of your own standard.
I planned to get a guest speaker to talk about their experiences plus a question and answer session at the end.
Im not really into doing it to make a killing and as an indication i reckon it could be done for about £100 per person - 3 days, 2 nights plus all your food as well.
Please let me know if you would be interested, if i can get 30 people i'll do it.
Cheers

Venom - Normally you have a load of organisations that pop up with training weekends that are geared to training for a marathon. Watch the runners world ad's come the turn of the year.
I'm not suggesting that it should only be for people running London, anyone would be welcome i just thought that the timing would be good. So was looking to do something around Jan / Feb.
Made the connection London = people living in London rather than London = FLM.
Anyway, I like the idea of running somewhere a bit more scenic than the pavements of north London. Cornwall sounds great.

Maybe you're right. It could well be better somewhere like that. I only suggested Cornwall as i know the area pretty well and it's then a bit of a holiday away as well.
I'm originally from Yorkshire theres some great country side around there and that's is pretty central. What do you reckon? Thanks for the input.
Especially for flights and trains.
I live in Woking (Surrey) so as long as I can get to wherever by train (don't drive), or hitch a lift with someone, I'm there.
So, yes - please count me in.
Happy Shambler!
