Easy and taper weeks

Hi everyone

By what percentage should I cut my mileage during an easy week and during the taper ?

I'm currently doing 40-45 miles per week and my first HM is 25/11 in Clowne.

    gives differing opinions. I would start tapering for a 5k about 10+ days ahead of the race but obviosuly that's different for your longer distance. Stuff on my site is more about 5k tapers. Also brianmac's site is very good on training load and tapering ingeneral.
