I'm coming down from N.Yorks. for this one, me dear departed Mum & Dad used to live in Edwinstowe so it will be a bit of a trip down memory lane for me.
Just a question for those of you who have run it before - is the course suitable for spikes? I know Sherwood Forest well enough to know it is likely to be muddy!

this does depend upon the weather, if we have a hard frost then spikes may be too much. the trail surface is similar to the cinder of reclaimed railway trails.
Thanks for that Reg, I think traditional off road shoes will do the trick.
Anyone else doing this? Looks like a chilly one but better that than pouring rain.
Are there any space left. My wife and myself would like to enter. It will be our first 10k run together.
