Iain - glad you got there after the flight debacle.
Thanks for the weather info, just checked the forecast and it's definitely cooler than here, race morning with a 'feels like' temp of 3 degrees warming up to 13, east wind keeping the temp down. Have packed gloves and long sleeved top.
That's me just checked in at Glasgow Airport, if anyone wants to say hi, I'm the good looking one with a Rolling Stones t-shirt on.
Good luck to everyone running, especially those running their first marathon, just enjoy the experience and you guys are also the only ones who are guaranteed pb's, although I think we'll all do well.
Trip went o/k apartment is fab. Went up to the expo yesterday at 7pm, wow, what a queue to get the numbers. Out sighgtseeing today and probably catch the mini-marathon later. Hope your all having fun and have a great race Sunday, especially those doing their first one.
My youngest is doing the mini marathon today, she is soooo excited!! Bless!!
Off to do the Breakfast Run this morning. Did a bus tour and went to the zoo yesterday - two knackered girls last night! Its good when your on holiday and their in bed by 9.30!!
Loving Berlin, so much to explore. We're in a great area.
About an hour delay on the connecting flight so not too Bad.
Got to the expo around 1 on Friday and very busy, felt like id done a marathon just getting to the number bit .Nearly forgot the wristband as well, until my brother mentioned it.
Slightly concerning I've developed a pain about 2-3 inches above my ankle in the front of my leg (that's a new one!) can feel it constantly there when walking. Feels like A bruise if I prod it but no signs of any swelling. So will skip the breakfast run today and try and do as little as possible. Will take it easier tomorrow and hopefully it'll get no worse, still got a sore throat as well...5 days ago I was raring to go now I feel worried about getting round.
The party apartment is HUGE with a 24hr kebab shop that also does currywurst downstairs. Just waiting the arrival of jimbob and we will be a full set. Breakfast run was brilliant with an awesome finish in the stadium and waiting for kaz to arrive so we can go yell at her girl while others yell at silly overpaid men chasing a round ball. watch out for us. We'll have flags with 3 legged stools on them.

Kingkenjy - dont worry about it. Its 'normal' to feel like this. Just trust that youve done enough and it'll be fine on the start line.
KingKenny - as per Emmy, just take it easy today, rest, Paracetamol and try to forget about tomorrow. Training is done - you'll be great!
Loved the Breakfast Run - what a stadium! - looking forward to footie, food, bed and taking part in an amazing marathon tomorrow!
Good luck everyone!

Wishing you all the very best tomorrow...looking forward to that medal .
Trying to keep nerves in check but I have to say Berlin is a fab city-love it..just awaiting husband and daughters return from Fat Tyre Tour
Good luck everyone!
