It's race week, what to eat?

I've got a race on Sunday. It's only a 10k But i really want to smash the 50minute marker. I know pasta and chicken are my best friends they'd before, but ist here anything else I cn do now to store energy? I guess imjustgoingo drink nothing.but water and avoid fatty foods. I'm always rubbish when it comes to nutrition.
