OB Try to picture me as a harrassed 39 year old mother of 3. It will be less of a shock for you when we actually meet.
CR - nightmare just about sums it up but we really did enjoy the weekend. Mrs OB discovered George Jenson's shop and spent quite a lot of the weekend there!
OK, I'm really warming to the idea of running this one.
Mr Silly, although I've entered the FLM, I almost hope that I don't get in so hubby and I can have a mini break to Copenhagen.

I have some christmas tree decorations. Presents from Danish guests.
Lord Lucan has a bizarre christmas tree bauble phobia but he will tolerate Georg Jensen decorations. Just as well really as our tree does tend to look a bit bare otherwise!
I got to grips with the basics when I went last year but found that everyone spoke far better English than I spoke Danish so I gave up. Its a difficult language to learn from a phrase book because half the written sounds are swallowed. For example, the "G" in Magnus disappears. The "D" in Frederik sounds more like an "L".
If you have any Danish friends, ask them to help you with the pronunciation. Danish people really do appreciate it if anyone takes the trouble to try and speak a few words.

I can help you with the spelling, but unfortunately, I'm not so fluent in phonetics...
