I went and ran it anyway but started from the Pilot Inn and ran the circuit four times plus only a little bit around the houses which got to a grand total of 28.6 miles! First lap was a little bit icy, but rest were okay. Snowed for most of the time, but the sun did come out momentarily.
Congrats to Paul 'spider' Brenton who also ran it but dressed in full ice hockey kit! Raising sponsorship money for Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.
My rest day Friday turned into a 3 hour flat out anger fest on the spin bike and felt great, Saturday unfortunately my 1st ever Parkrun went BAD! Lol, jogged 10m home. Sunday felt pretty good and managed a hilly 22m so hopefully ready for the Quadzilla in a few weeks.
Lets hope for a rescheduled date soon, I'm more gutted for my son, my mate who's 1st marathon it was supposed to be! Plenty more coming up to choose from tho.
It's a shame coz I enjoy that marathon, there level of contact has always been poor! Such a shame, I think there gonna cheese a lot of people off for there future races.
I think it's bad we haven't been contacted. Other races I've entered seem to be able to e-mail the runners with no problems, even ones abroad. I know they couldn't help the weather but the lack of communication when they have had our money is very poor.

Personally I think this is very bad!!!
Me too, Muzza. I think I'll give this company a miss in the future.
No I'm not too impressed either.
