I went to my local running shop and had my gait checked out. I am now a mild over-pronator and he suggested some support shoes would be best (although he did say it was borderline). He recommended Saucony Phoenix and Mizuno Nexus shoes and I ran on the treadmill on both. A friend of mine is also a mild over-pronator and swears by the new Asics Kayano 18 but I have heard mixed reviews on all the trainers.
My questions are: is it worth changing from a neutral to support trainer as i havent had too many issues previously? And what are your views in the trainers suggested or are there any others that you could suggest i try?
