Tony, great to hear from you!

I thought for a moment you were intending to do all of those and then realised some were on the same days!

So far I only have the Canterbury 10 in the diary. Target is to run sub 70 and that should set me up nicely with another 15 weeks to go to my marathon.

I've had a good couple of weeks training. In fact this will be my highest mileage week & month since April 1994!!

This afternoon I ran a 4.5 mile loop around my home which is a real bitch with 6 proper hills. I ran it the fastest I have ever run it in the 8 1/2 years I've lived here. Not sure what is happening to be honest but feel like I'm making huge strides at teh moment.

I'm sticking, for now, with a 3:15 target but beginning to feel a bit lower may be possible.

  • DSanta2 yes it is my potential list as you say some is are alternatives ie Exeter marathon is full but there is cross country on the same day!

You sound really positive and the loop pb is great and your decision to stick at present wise and you never know in a couple of weeks you may feel like moving up a little

I hope you and your family have great Christmas and keep you informed of my progress

    Cheers Tony
