Weird one-handed thing

Does anyone find that they can only carry a bottle (or anything else) in a specific hand? I'm right handed but feel very weird running with a bottle in my right hand. It has to be the left.
It's the same thing when I lace my shoes. If I lace my right shoe first it feels very weird.
Am I strange?

No, absloutely normal mate,I carry bottle in left hand and stereo in the right. Switch em round and I'm useless... hey maybe that's what went wrong in FLM.......

I can relate to the hand thing (got to be the left!)but the shoe laces... that's a bit obsessive (meant in a very nice way of course...)

It's not a ritialistic thing in the sense of "oh my god if I lace my right shoe first the world will end". I think it's just years of always tying my left shoe first (not just running shoes. All shoes).
The thing is though, how did I get into the routine in the first place?
BTW - It's the same when I apply deodorant. Left oxter first.

Right hand - try left, but feel like I lose all the energy in my legs and it ruins my stride. Maybe i should feng shui my running?

Despite being left handed, I always carry my water bottle in right hand. Try to swap over every so often, but then the liquid seems to slosh around in the bottle far more when I'm holding it in the left, which is distracting. Either I'm imagining things, or it's showing up some slight asymmetricality (is that a word?) in my arm motions.

Always put my left shoe on before my right as well. Weird....

I'm a left hander as well, and i'm the same, venom. Must be something to it if it affects so many of us.
