TJ, as folk have said, you can just turn up on the Friday, unless you need an electgtrical hook-up - they have a limited number of them. Barlos and Schmunks are trying to arrange free camping for the folk volunteering at the feedstation (on another thread), but if you're taking part you have to pay. I just called them to double check, and they said the campsite is reserved for Outlaw that weekend, you don't need to book for non-elec pitches, and it is £9 per night (for one person in a tent, so prob. a bit more if your sharing etc.).
I'm now going solo and will be camping too. Tipping up Friday and leaving Monday afternoon, maybe Tuesday. Will be flat out in it on Monday. I'm assuming there will be plenty of pirate flags on show to congregate?
badger i wouldn't worry about the size/..........the pirates pitcj so close together that they must get about 10 tents on 4 pitches if they were marked like the electric ones.......they are winning
yea - i got in my tent last year and the fireworks started as soon as i laid down - i thought that was a nice touch for them to do that for me, and yes seren was still in the pub
I must remember to pack my ear plugs, though i don't want to sleep through my alarm.....first year i was helping, Viking had been shouting on me, shaking the tent and everything and i didn't wake up til he called me on my phone and the vibrations woke me up (it was on my pillow before anyone starts, lol). They work too well, hehehe. So yeah i never hear the fireworks!
