The website http://www.blenheim10.co.uk/
"Blenheim 10 is the annual 10–kilometre charity run held in the park of Blenheim Palace near Woodstock in Oxfordshire – an undulating course through parklands on traffic-free metalled roads. The 2002 run will be run in aid of Breast Cancer Care (Lavender Trust) and will take place at 10:30am on Sunday, 20 October.
The race is organised by the Rotary Club of Woodstock and is held in Blenheim Park by kind permission of the Duke of Marlborough.
The Men's and Women's course records were broken in 2001 when Blenheim 10 saw its biggest ever field (412). Martin Yelling of Bedford and County ran home in 31:15, whilst a time of 38:55 was set by Claire Bennett of Alchester Running. Claire's Alchester Running team also won the Women's team prize, whilst Handy Cross won the Men's team event."
No info on times outside the top 10 but with a field of 400+ I guess there's a good range for us 'less elite' folk. Chance for families/bag carriers to explore Blenheim while we're meandering around the park.
