I am desperate to do an Ironman. I'm not the fittest, but at the moment I have plenty of enthusiasm for it!
I did have some plan that i'd work up to it and attempt one in 2016, however after reading a couple of books, and a few of the threads on here i've decided 2014 is the year for me! (It would be next year but am having to take a forced 6 month holiday to a sandpit overseas).
I've never done a triathlon before but have signed up for a sprint in april and a half marathon in march... I keep signing up for stuff in the early hours.. I know its a good idea... right?
