I've just been shopping

And bought a pair of running tights!! Oh yes I have.
I mentioned discount for URWFRC in the Covent Garden Sweatshop and got blank faces and forgot who BK said it was arranged with. But I got the impression that I would have been ok with proof I was a member. Anyway as luck would have it I had my Serpie membership card on me, then only to realise I had my maiden name on it and married name on my debit card. She believed my "I've just got divorced" plee and said she believed me, phew, and got my 10% discount anyway.
Anyway these running tights, they are unkind aren't they? I mean despite being a size 10, I wa very conscious of my backside and thighs! Which begs the questions:
1) When are the new long sleeved URWFRC tops going to be ready?
And
2) Do they hide a multitude of sins?

I'll post something on the Gear thread re Sweatshop and see if anyone else had any problems. The Reading branch were only notified on Tuesday.
Perhaps we should consider some official looking badges. I'll see if anyone has any ideas on that as well.
Maybe as Club Sec you could send an official-looking letter confirming membership when you posts vests, T-shirts etc. However, a badge or membership card would be cool.
