I haven't run for about two and half months , i'm 53 and by best 5k time was 23.02 . I'd like to re-start now but , to avoid injury and or disappointment and frustration i'm reluctant to just go for a 5 - 6 k run
Once back into it i won't want to run more than 10k , probably 5 - 6k . Has anyone got any ideas about the best way to re-start , jog / walk , jog / run shorter distance or some other brilliant flying back to form method ?
