Accuracy - Garmin footpod vs Endomondo

I'm getting about 1/2 mile difference over a 6 mile run between my Garmin in conjunction with a footpod and the Endomondo App on the smartphone, with about a .5 min/mile difference in pace. I wondered what the common wisdom is in terms of which is the most accurate? I'm guessing the Garmin as the GPS will be taking the distance every now and then. Am I right?

I have 2 garmins ( not showing off, 1 will be on eBay soon!) and had brief look at edmondo once, I would say 100% garmin every time!
