I currently wear Mizuno Alchemy 10 trainers. I am training for the Paris Marathon in April and would like to get some new trainers to continue my training with.
As mentioned i currently have mizunos which are fine, but i've had them for over a year and are a little on the heavy side.
I over-pronate quite a lot and have occasional back problems so i need a stable shoe but i want one thats a bit lighter in weight.
I have had asics kayanos and saucony in the past. The asics i found wore down very quickly and wasnt a massive fan for the money that i paid. The saucony's were really heavy. I have also had some other asics for faster runs which i liked but wouldn't give me the support for a marathon.
I have quite wide feet too to add to the problem.
I'm 5ft 8 and around 10 st...i tend to run quite heavy too (if that makes a difference!)
Can anyone recommend a good trainer for over-pronators (not mild) thats quite lightweight and will last marathon training and marathon distance?
