I've recently started doing this iron strength workout, which seems to have a nice balance. I've substituted the dumbbells for resistance bands as I seem to have lost my dumbells in a recent house move, but it still works quite well.
(how on earth one loses dumbells I don't know)

Dave scott has a load of u tube strength training clips. ... For those with training peaks accounts there was a webinar on this winter base training last week including an example strength program. Looks good but have not watched it yet. not sure if this is freely availble or of you need an account
