Repairing a split treadmill belt
Hi, I wonder if anyone has any experience with repairing a treadmill belt.
Mine has split along the seam. The price of a new belt is over £140. I have looked at a few products used for repairing conveyor belts, but am struggling to get a price from suppliers without giving them every bit of information about me.
I dont want to buy a new belt as the treadmill is about 12 years old. It is an old gym one....Johnson Jet 7000 and I'm not convinced it will last too much longer.
Any help is appreciated.

contact the treadmill doctor. I forget his details but im sure if you google him, you will find his contact information. He is brilliant and very helpful
I recently had to replace the belt on my treadmill and got a good price from Expertfitness (expertfitness.co.uk), mine was an orthopaedic belt as well so it was slightly thicker than normal. Just in case you want another place to get a quote from.

my advice don't repair a belt you need a new sealed joint or it will screw up again,
