Ouch!

Hi there, I was wondering if anyone out there has experienced constant niggly pain in their hip/upper thigh area. It's continuously painful to run on whether I'm uphill, downhill or on the flat. My typical mileage is between 40 and 50 miles per week, always on hard surfaces! Also I run with my dog who loves to pull! I am now walking with a limp as it is sore to put full weight on the leg. Even sitting feels 'not right'! The upper right side of my leg roundabout the hip area and into my groin area is alternatively numb-ish and throbby! To be honest, I'm so cross that I can't get out! My dog is getting fat! Any ideas what could be wrong????? An desperate to get it sorted!
