Hi Everyone,
Can anyone help me pick a reasonably priced running watch for my mum. She wants something that will give her pace and distance information. Budget is £50-70 which rules out the most basic Garmin, and as I'm a Garmin fangirl, I don't know what else to recommend.
She doesn't have a smartphone (doesn't want one either!) so can't use any of the apps.
Thank you!

Garmin FR60 with HR strap for £69.98:

Problem solved with 2p left in the budget
Judging from the website the FR60 won't give you distance though as it has no GPS built in.
I found this 'Soleus' on Amazon for £67.91 - though never heard of the maker before:

I found another for £77.70 - an 'Ultrasport'

So there are some sub £70/80 models with GPS out there, but no idea how good they are.
FR60 uses a footpod - not as accurate as GPS but good enough for training (and significantly better than NIke +)
It works well enough for me anyway.
Thanks everyone! The FR60 looks like the way to go
Sussex Runner - I thought that initially, even thought I might pick up a bargain 305 but the ones I found were £300
I have bought the Ultrasport off Amazon a few months ago and I am really impressed with it (though I am only a beginner). It does GPS, HRM and Navigation if you really want. Compatability wise it has it's own software which links into Google Maps / Earth and you can even export into Garmin Connect if you want to share with Garmin folk.
Only negative is that the altitude recording is a bit hit and miss but otherwise I would thoroughly recommend.
