Hi Steve brown4 very pleased indeed that your procedure was successful for you. I do believe you are fortunate that your country will perform this type of procedure. I think the nhs would probably perform a more invasive procedure but as you say shop around as some hospitals in england may do these. Unfortunately new private health insurance won't cover an existing problem. I am 55 years old and probably am much the same spine wise as most 55 year olds. I am running 3.5 miles with no issues afterwards so that is good enough for me. I like going cycling and swimming to and am grateful that I can do that - some people are not so fortunate.
