Hi,
Does anyone know if the Garmin 410 is the only GPS watch which will show your virtual pace against a course? I want to be able to see where I am against my PB at any part of the courses I run. It seems from my research only the 410 does this accross all brands.
Thanks in advance for any tips!
James

To clarify, I'm after the cheapest GPS watch with this functionality! There are dearer Garmins with it too!
Can you still get the 205/305? They do it.
Ah cheers, I have found the 410 for £131. Currently seems the best value for money. 205 and 305 are £200/£300. The 405 is £119 though!
^^ what he said, the 305 consistantly out performs the 405/410 in side by tests too,
Brilliant, thanks! I shall check ebay out.
Thanks, good advice. Its ashame the Nike+TomTom doesn't have the functionality as I use the Nike+ via my Ipod Nano at the moment.
Cheers
305 is ok if you don't mind wearing something the size of a shoe box attached to your wrist.
Marc.S: what tests are these then. I've used 405/410 with no problems. Can't see what test would prove one against the other unless maybe you mean battery life.
it was side by side reviews, i seem to remember one by dcrainmaker, he ran them side by side and said the 305 usually got gps lock faster, and its accuracy was the same in almost all tests, other reviews pereferd the buttons as opposed to the touch bezel, the differneces in performance were minimal at best, but still, for half the money it was enough to make it a better purchace for a long time, i certainly wouldnt say the 305 is a better watch, but its every bit as good.
'Consistanly out performs' may be pushing it a little then? My 405 and 410 both lock-on to a satelite signal whilst in any room in my house at least 90% of the time. For another £30 or so the 410 is a no brainer over the 305 (IMO).
