I don't think anyone knows yet. There is a similar discussion regarding the GFA times. I suppose that when they open the ballot things will be on the website.
Our criteria are that you are a) paid up member of the club & AA affiliated at the start of the club year. b) you applied for the ballot (or indicated to the club within days that you intended to apply and missed it). You the get one entry, + one entry for every club event you helped with. So, some ppl get 3 or 4 entries, some only get one.
Chewie1981 - championship times haven't change for years. It should remain 2.45 unless VLM go mad.
Eli - you need to apply via the overseas ballot through a approved tour operator. Sadly there not one for your country. The nearest is USA via www.marathontours.com
We give our club places out on merit - ie what runners have done for the club - with a bit of account taken of personal stories to help "tie break". This was the original purpose of club places - London Marathon organisers thanking clubs for help with marshalling, etc.
Am gutted as wasnt able to get on line until just now and the ballet has closed Does anyone no if there is anyother way of emtering eg by post like there used to be or is that it now? The ballet is closed and the only way is though charity places???

Out of interest simon, why does your club stipulate AA (or EA?) affiliation for your club places?

The ballot for the 2014 London Marathon has just opened Don't take your time, I wonder how long it will be open this year.
It's open now guys- best of luck to all!
http://www.virginlondonmarathon.com/marathon-centre/enter-virgin-london-marathon/
It was publicised on the Virgin London Marathon website plus most club runers will be able to find out via UK Athletics or Run Britain.
I have just entered the ballot for my 4th race since 2007 but I have not ran since 2011 so there is a big gap in between.
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE
