    In Piratespeak they're called upflats.

  • not to that one Cat I'm afraid as (1) we have our Diving Club competition and I'm needed at the pool all day and (2) probably doing the Marlow Oly Tri the next day.

  • Ah well. Good luck with Marlow.

  • Unless I get run over by the end of the week I shall be there on Saturday fo sure image!

  • I'm in, 10:00 at starbucks.

  • bringing my new bike yeeeee hawwwwwwww

  • What did you go for WhizKid !?  Feeling jealous already....

  • Scott addict r1 full dura ace 7900 with zipp 404's weighs in at 6.6kg image

  • Ooooh, VERY nice...well done.  Look forward to seeing it.  What are you doing about Tri-Bars ?

  • I'm not at the moment as I'm keeping the TT bike, using it as a stand alone road bike mainly for road racing and sportives, I seem too be collecting bicycles at the moment! I pick the new one up on Wednesdayimage

  • Nice work.  I don't know much about bikes but love them and am really interested in all the different sorts / flavours / combinations etc.  The Scott looks very nice - what colour is it !?

  • Gun metal grey/white image Im a cyclist probably above being a triathelete as I really do love it!

  • Great colours....great bike....I too love a good ride...even when it was p!ss!ng down with rain yesterday I still had fun.

  • Haha good on ya mate, I don't really enjoy riding in the rain too much, but I do it if I have too! And cheers for the bike love maiden voyage is Saturday I can't wait!

  • What time are we meeting and where, total ride distance?

I dont know the abilities of those coming on Saturday but ive not ridden my bike for 4 weeks, im also not great on hills so if we're doing say 60 miles 14/15mph maybe an optomistic average speed for me.

I dont want to hold anyone up so will judge on the day whether to let you all go on and meet me back at the finish.

  • Barley - plan to meet 10:00 Sat morning outside Starbucks in the middle of Henley.

The lap is 37 miles roughly and we're planning two laps, but there are many out and back sections where we can re-group etc. Its suppose to be a recce not a race round - honest!! image

  • I am just so jealous, and sorry I can't come out to play.

  • Blisters - sorry you can't make it too...would have been good to meet...we'll just have to do another one...although I am a fair way away I am keen to see as much of the course as possible...

Raf - Thanks for organising - really appreciated

Bouncing Barlist - don't worry about speeds, I am keen to take it all in

Just been for a bike ride...what a beautiful day...

    Take care

  • Oi blisters sort it out mate, pull some strings get yo ass down too Henley on Saturday!?!!

BB no one really cares about speed and such and there is only really one decent hill the rest are just long drags.

picking up my new bike tonight so should be exciting shiz biz

  • Whizz kid - brilliant day to be collecting a new bike...enjoy !

With all this talk of new things (your bike, Blisters aero bars, Raf's wheel) I am feeling the need to treat myself !

I agree about hills....nothing too nasty.

  • Big girls pants! Just remembered the family are parkrunning on Staurday morning and I'm marshalling. I'm out image

  • It sounds like fun - especially the Starbucks part Barlos - it'll be just like IMDE !

I can't make it this weekend but will keep an eye out in case you repeat the ride.

    Have fun chaps.
