I went out to run last night, but the GPS on my FR10 wouldn't work - it gets to the bar being completely black on "Getting Location" screen but won't go beyond that. I know other functions are working on it as I switched to using the Run/Walk for an interval session when I realised I wasn't going to be able to track distance.
At first I thought it was my location causing a signal issue but I walked off the old railway track where I was back up to streets not far away from where it had worked fine in the past and it was still the same. Tried again at home this morning and still not cooperating.
Anyone else had an issue like this? Only had the device about two months or so.

Just means that the FR10 couldn't get a lock on Satellites.
Was the weather bad in your area last night.
Have had a few issues with my 405 taking a while when really cloudy, used to be a right old problem on the old 301
If continues to happen, contact Garmin.
If its a one-off, don't worry about it. If it keeps happening, have a look at this:

Bit weird if the progress bar is full. Generally if mine can't get a lock it doesn't get any further than about a quarter along.
