What's it worth? You can have mine if you want but if ebay is anything to go by there's a massive premium on three digit numbers that read the same upside down. Shall we say £500?
There's a little known clause in the consititution of the London Marathon, whereby if you just run the distance anywhere within greater London on the same day, it qualifies you as having done the London Marathon. You have to send off for the medal, but it all counts.
So why bother with entering in the normal way? This even works on treadmills, which is nice because you can pause it and go and grab some lunch.

Please please please! How would it be best to pick up an entry from either of you?
What?! Have entries closed already?
Just meet him on Tower Bridge about 10.45 ?
Are they taking entries on the day?
Thanks cougie. I'll try and get in touch with him through the VLM first timers thread. I presume he's lurking there to pick up tips.

Pfft, why bother with that Phil? Just wait until Sunday evening and buy a medal!
with all the extra security needed for this weekend .it will be fun for everyone to just swap numbers.....
just write your own number and turn up
I've got one you can have for a reasonable price - slightly crumpled, with pin-holes in the corners, but it's the real thing!
OK, so it says FLORA London Marathon on it, but I shouldn't think anyone would notice.

You can do that in the real marathon. I'll be leaving a picnic hamper at Mudchute, where I hope to rock up about lunchtime.
