I believe it was Mull of Kintyre by Wings. A and D with an E thrown in. I think the book I learned to play guitar out of had 12 songs, all of which have been used in lyrics on these threads!
Blisters: I've heard of Luton, too, and not least the marathon there! I wouldn't, though, say that today's Manchester event was particularly dull in terms of the course, being a one lapper, although a couple of roads are run in both directions.
