Does anyone know whether I should enter via the ballot asap, or hang on for a good for age place? Am running a marathon next week and am aiming for a time which would get me good for age, but don't want to miss out on the ballot?
Anyone know the process for good for age? Is says on the website I can't apply til end of May...
Would be gutted to miss a ballot opportunity by waiting a week - am assuming it'll be full by then??

No harm in entering the ballot anyway as you don't have to part with cash yet. Then if you do run a GFA time you can always get your ballot place transferred to GFA by calling VLM. This is what the woman advised me to do anyway as they had not announced the GFA times, but I see they are up on the site now.
Read london website all details on there.

I'd enter the ballot anyway if your GFA time is not already in the bag. If you get your planned time next week, the GFA entry is guaranteed and will just replace your ballot entry.
I know of people in the past that have entered the ballot, replaced that with a GFA entry in August ( when GFA entry ran through until September), and then with a Champs start the following January.
You do have to pay now Slowkoala?
Out of curiousity, by what point do the GFA places fill up? Im targetting VLM 2015, but its marathons that happen just after VLM 2014 (kent, manchester) where I'm hoping to do the requisite times.
I guess you just apply for the VLM 2015 ballot ASAP regardless?
