Trainer Advice

I've returned to running after 17yrs and am experiencing a little pain below my knees and on my shins. Nothing too much. I wear a pair of Salomon Crossmax 2's  for the trail and a pair of New Balance 660 V2's on the road. I weigh approximately 84kg and am a moderate over-pronator (had gait analysis at local store). They suggested Asics gel 2170's. Any advice on shoes? I mainly run along canal towpaths and cinder/grassy trails on the flat or slight incline.
