Right calf keeps cramping.

For the last couple of months when I do a run my right calf keeps cramping up, this has never happened before, and I do stretch and warm up before any run. I do not think that I push myself that hard when training run avg. pace of 7.5 to 8 minutes per mile. Any advice???

  • try stretching after your run instead; your muscles need to warm up before you stretch them. Think of them as like a stick of chewing gum - it only gets stretchy when you've warmed it up and done some work.
