Running with blisters

Pretty straightforward situation. I have got a sizeable blister on the bottom of my foot which is painful when walking/running. Am using blister plasters on it. Am I going to prevent it clearing up by continuing to run or will it just happen in time regardless?



  • If you pop it (hygienically of course) and drain it,it will dry in a day or two and as long as you cover it properly it will heal just as quickly run or no run

  • Has already popped, the problem is it has taken all the skin of my foot so I have an area about the size of a £2coin missing a layer of skin and just red and sore. Will cover it again today, ta.
