Well done everybody we're almost there! Parkrun tomorrow then LSR Sunday and I will be tapering off the miles for the big day. It's certainly much cooler outside and it's gonna chuck it down tomorrow! It is here anyway. And good luck to your brother waccy!
Nope not seen anything yet but last year i got my pack relatively late. They must have to send loads out! Thinking this might be my first ultra using my sandals depends on the weather. If the rain we have had down here continues I think itt might be my big chunky Salomons

Like Jindalee said - thats good running Waccyracer!
No one will thank you if you make it look too easy on race day though
Thanks Rich , don't matter how many miles i get under my belt it is never too easy
on race day. It is usually always good fun though and i do tend to show that at times When i run i'm just a big kid really.
I think I would have struggled to get anywhere near my expected pace if it was as hot as last week.
i agree, its nice that the temperature had dropped a bit, but I would not be impressed with 12 degrees and rain on race day
Used the gym this morning for some speed work on the treadmill. Lovely and cool
in there at least. Did ten miles in 1:15 but my legs were falling off at the end.
Easy weekend for me with a wedding reception Saturday and The London Triathlon
on Sunday. ( supporting my brother.)
hope you all have a good weekend.
Sounds like a busy weekend Waccy. Have fun!

SideBurn oh no! Think positive and there's time for things to turn right.
Lovely blue sky here for my LSR, went out the door at 6am and covered 29.4k so very happy with that. I do hope the weather is kind to us too!
18.5 miles for me. Now the proper taper begins.
Good distance - well done. Sorry I didn't contact you about running this weekend but I'm back on the physio couch with my ITB after a 33k last week.
My race pack arrived Saturday so I guess everyone who hasn't got one yet will have mail today or tomrrow. Suddenly its real
Anyone know of a good sport physio in Salisbury/Warminster area?
no worries.Fingers crossed tht you will get your ITB under control so you can enjoy the Marathon. Sorry cannot help on a sport physio.
Did my last long run yesterday - 19 miles - could I have done another 7? Probably!
There's no such thing as bad weather, merely unsuitable clothing... Or something
Can't help you either Rich. Somebody must have a contact though. Well done Millsy, Jindalee & Rogerbunny!
No race pack for me today either
