I have an off road half marathon coming up in june and have decided, perhaps a bit late to get a new trail shoe because my current ones I have had for a while now(since september) are getting on. My current shoes are Salomon SLAB XT Wings which are pretty nice and before that I had Salomon XR Crossmax.
I am contemplating getting Adidas Kanadias which I had before then as I know they are good and quite cheap so it doesn't matter if they dont last long.
So I'm thinking either Adidas Kanadia, Walsh, Mizuno Wave Harrier or one of the New Balance Trail shoes.
Does anyone have any advice.recomendations?
I would be grateful

if you are buying for a specific event then buy those most suited to the terrain. Don't really know a great deal about the shoes you mention but i know that Walshes are favoured by those who run the more serious trails whereas Salomons have a reputation as being more of a hybrid shoe.
Ha just googled Walsh £24 - no brainer to me.
