Sorry kaffeeg... I think everyone more or less agreed that gay marriage was fine and then our thoughts naturally turned to c***s. For the ladies among us, I suppose there is more of an obvious link between the topics.
Screamapillar, I thought it was the thread where SR called various other posters c**ts and then removed the asterisks to avoid any ambiguity as to his meaning?
I think only we know what we are talking about Screamapillow.
Back to the thread topic. Did anyone see Ian Paisley Jnr on Question Time last night? What a very offensive man he is. Homosaywhats shouldn't get married because he believes that marriage is only for people who want to have children. Hasn't he heard of the turkey baster? And, therefore, shouldn't any Hetrosaywhats be allowed to marry unless they agree to have children first?
Kind of comes back to the classic "I don't like it so you can't do it" attitude doesn't it. If you don't like gay marriage, don't marry someone of the same sex. Simples.

Given that I (still) can't see the link, does this mean I'm not a lady?
Well, two gay blokes getting married wouldn't really be that interested in them, whereas two women probably would.
Hmmmm. I am a gay lady (and not in the man dressed in a women's clothing kind of way) and am married (aka civil partnership) and didn't see the link. Worried about the validity of my lesbian membership now......

Everyone who wants the legal rights should be required to have a civil partnership.
After they've done that if they want to go and jump over a broom, or stand in front of an oak tree or any of the other strange things they just need to find someone who will perform that service for them.
None of these strange cults should play any part in the legal side of a countries governing and a countires government shouldn't try and tell these cults who the should or shouldn't try and indoctrinate ...
(and I didn't really expect that to be my first post in a running forum )

Seren - I think we're self-censoring to avoid the fate of Sussex Runners' posts on theo other thread. I say cunt all the time really.
I also have a friend who uses cunt both when talking about her own or other people's, and as an insult, and doesn't seem worried by the contradiction.
No it was on the holiday books thread.

Phil, we need you on Question Time!
Ooh, can I have a go on The Big Question first? Much more loony, irrational, prejudiced views to have a go at there!
Given that Ian Paisley is the son of the other Ian Paisley (and what a lovely chap he was) I'm not really surprised he doesn't have liberal views.
Just a shame he turned out ot be a carbon copy of his old man.
Probably a closet case.

This should be a required text in schools, IMO.
Can you spot the irony in that post?
The little blighters have to do something while they're there!
Well, two gay blokes getting married wouldn't really be that interested in them, whereas two women probably would.
Oh blimey, I chose to be married and not have children. Does that make me the spawn of Satan or something?

well, I did say 'probably'...
You have to be a member these days? I never knew!
That's because you're not one, Peter.
How do you know, literatin....? Appearances can be deceptive.
Good point, Peter. Actually your photo is a bit blurry anyway so it's hard to tell.
quite intentional.
Yeah, you're somehow ruining marriage for everyone else.
Just as well I'm getting divorced then That will make the stats look better

I'm an atheist but I wouldn't describe the Church as a "strange cult."
Controversial subject for your first post Splatcat. Careful or you will be accused of being a troll
