Just read that off Farcebook Dave, I'm supposed to be working but that was a top read! I forgot to mention the 'little shower of rain' we had during the run that was also hail!

Really?? You jammy bugger! You must have been at the opposite end of the run course. I was at the turnaround point by the finisher bit and it deluged so hard we all got soaked to the skin. But I'm sure it was LS who was at the other end said she didn't see any rain too!
I got more than wet enough up in the mountains thank you young lady !
But it's a darn sight cheaper than Cote d'Azur

I have never been that cold on a bike before and that's saying a lot! Wish I'd taken my arm warmers with me, didn't even consider it.
Left mine in the house, strange really coz I've used them all year, oh no, how stupid, not living in Nice I don't tend to use them after February

It was lovely meeting up with you lot in Nice and that's such a lovely city. I must go back for a proper visit, maybe get a peaceful swim in and a leisurely ride in too!

We spent Tuesday morning looking at apartments so we can have a "proper" visit back to Nice, It was nice
Hey all, not being a pirate (burn him), I have to say guys it was a pleasure to talk to a few of you an witness the support, of which I benefited from the shouts and abuse! Didn't get his pirate name but Dave who I ran the last lap with, thanks mate ! It's really strange how you share an intensely personal experience with a compltee stranger but is going through the same thing as you!
oh and yes, the swim was the worst I have ever done, the bike was freezing and I didn't get any rain on the run either!
