Hi - can anyone recommend some 2 in 1 running shorts with an inner compression type layer? I always used to get the under armour chafe free shorts but looks like they've been discontinued.
I really like the look of the nike dri fit 2 in 1's camo on sports direct. Problem is I have a nice pair of shorts already and they have two side pockets (which is handy for my phone and mp3 player) and the Nikes don't
Spooky - was just about to order my 3rd pair of Nike dri-fit and thought I'd check the forum... I normally get the 7Inch - which is 7 Inches from crotch to hem/end of the short. I also run in "devil-may-care just lycra shorts" as well, but not ideal when running past the local primary school at chucking-out time... So these shorts offer the best of both worlds - chafe-free lycra and modesty

Nike Dri-fit are superb.
Lululemon running shorts are excellent but I think only one shop in the uk at the minute and they are pretty expensive - hubbie swears by them.
I've got some asics 2 in1 which I like. Not sure of the compression qualities though: They're not particularly tight.
+1 For Nike Dri Fit, I swear by them and now cant run without them. I also use the Asics 2 in 1 shorts. They are decent..
Another +1 for Nike Dri Fit, they are brill
Why not just wear Tri shorts under them? That way you can wear any shorts you want.
I use Karrimor from Sports Direct 2 in 1s as cant run in normal shorts without serious chaffing.
Good idea Redjeep though.
Also have some 2 in 1 shorts from Decathalon that provide good support from the inside pair.
You're paying twice then though aren't you and tri shorts aren't cheap.
Thanks for all the recommendations...think I'll try the nike ones...although not that many 7" 2-in-1 dry-fit ones available...
just go with lycra running shorts - chafe free zone always and no extra material to make you hotter than you need
Having tried numerous loose fit shorts with disasterous chaffing I now just stich with Nike Tech tight Dri-Fit shorts. No problems at all.
I did try the Nike 2 in 1's and they were ok but a bit longer than I would like and a bit too loose on the outer layer.

This might be a stupid question,
But I see you can buy shorts from 4 inch to 9 inch.
What does this mean?
What no 12 inch?
Now I am obviously lying.
No really what does it refer to?
No idea how good these are but I ordered a pair on Sunday so should be here soon. At 50% discount it seemed a good deal.
