Robot-esque running style

Hi all,

I have recently started running over the rugby closed season to start the season with much better fitness than I have played with before (and to help lose the love handles...)

On the rugby pitch it has often been noted that I run quite flat footed, and in quite a mechanical way. This affects my agility and sprint speed.

Can anyone help me remedy this? Will it come with improved fitness or do I need to re-learn how to run?

    Alexander Technique

    Barefoot running

    Naturual running

    Chi running

    They seem to be all very similar (or the same); but it could be a good place to start.
