My name is Tycho and i am gonna seriously get my sh!t in one sock
I need to lose about 20kg, get quicker on the swim and sort my running out as I'm pretty slow. I did a park run a while ago and a woman with a dog overtook me!
My bike is okay but I think it'll get better as the weight comes off, which it is doing with training and myfitnesspal.
I'm starting the Be Iron Fit programme from late December to get me ready for Wimbleball and Bolton but until then I'm semi following the base phase of the plan a few times.
Having only been back on my feet since Sat after a week long spell of sickness it was hard work, and HR was through the roof. Feels like I've lost a lot of fitness
Ironcat could it be that your energy stores are tanked out since you managed not to keep hold of much food last week. I found earlier in the year after a bout of similar unwellness the first run out was awful I literally had nothing in my legs maybe a day or two of good eats and you'll be back on your feet again.
Little bit of sock stuffing wee run tonight - taper week and all

Could well be. I'm eating mostly bland food (and I ran before brekkie ) but still get the odd stomach turn. Weight not really coming back on either.
Great run with the Mighty Irondog over the local woods a nice pacey hour looks like my injury woes are over ( touches a large piece of wood) going for a swim this afternoon with middle daughter at the open air pool at Plymouth Hoe sock is currently toppers with sh!t i sm gonna need a bigger sock
Quite a full sock over the weekend, then bang, lorry drove into the back of my car on the M25. Managed a track session and short swim, nothing fell off so must be OK. Graham the car is going to have to go to the car doctor tomorrow though, so no OW swim in the morning.
Hope the car is repairable Kate. The run and swim probably staved off any tightness from the crash!
Nice run HC, very jealous.
Well after a week of sh*tting everywhere but in the sock I followed Monday's run with yesterday's chaingang. I'd planned to go out with the first (aka slowest) group, but ego got the better of me. Went with the intermediate group but still tried to take it easy. Got dropped after ~10km so did the rest easy and was the last one back. I can understand the fast group overtaking me, but I managed to drop two from my group who took a shorter route home .
Calf this is the dutch version of RW we all got kinky while you were away.
Sock started to get sorted. Weight down (helps that I'm married to bookie) and swimming looking better. Just got to sort the running out more for the target's

That's endurance on many levels!
Have a good one!
60 miles done & dusted
Well done both.
I haven't cycled that far in ages.
My bike is in desperate need of a service. My gears are clicking and clunking all
over the place. Thats my excuse anyway!
Sock dragged round 7km or running.

Enjoy your run?
Yeah I decided just to run and enjoy it - turned out they were 9 min miles well chuffed over that.

Tapering this week so a 50 min ride and 30 min run.
I swam ... 3,2k in 1hr and 23 pesky seconds !!
45min on the cross trainer and some core work and some of the same tomorow I think
am not sure about putting your s**t in a sock to be honest....it sounds like it would be more at home in the dutch version of runners world....
However 30 up and downy miles on the bike tonight....10 mile run tomorrow....is the plan!
I think the points count even if you think about them these days
