Anyone out there got a training plan for 1/2 IM that includes one week of scaled-up effort? Or an idea of how much it's sensible to increase training volume for a single week?
I've got permission to 'work from home' for a week in August. I live in London but will instead work from a lodge in Herefordshire where I'll be able to swim, bike and run to my heart's content. But how much extra training can / should I realistically do to get the best outcome? I don't want to do too much more and end up injured or drained and so inadvertently set myself back.
