My plans have gone to shit for this race, cant get an electric hook up so my OH and kids arent coming down (cant go 3 days without electric ) so im going self supported. If anyone has an electric hook up would it be possible to throw a small fridge - 2'x2' - in your tent/van.
Im starting with the 200 mile runners - im not saying that i will do 200 miles, but Eddie has let me start with them and Ill see how it goes so im going to be there friday to sunday. I got PF in one foot, a twisted and sprained ankle in the other so might well only be running the 100 miler.
DK....unfortunately i woon't be there until late afternoon on the friday..........but you are welcome to put your fridge in my tent and come and go as you want......( just be quiet on the saturday night ...)
If you need some crewing on the friday evening or saturday just ask.....I'm not taking part till sunday.....
I should be in the bottom field.hopefully near where i parked last year........but gutted i can't leave here till lunchtime now
nice one seren - my start time isnt until 10pm so im going to be there in afternoon anyway, not sure even if im going to pitch a tent as im going to be running more or less or all the time - might just chuck my stuff in the turning circle and park my car in a good spot
Good luck Doner with the 200 I'm sure Seren will be fine with just the half!!!
Things didn't go to plan this year for the double so made the decision to to not enter about 2 months ago. A few family and work issues so something had to give. Next year though
Is anyone else doing any of the events??
Looking forward to watching the live tracker next weekend.
Sorry thought you had said half on FB. Walk in the park though with what you have been doing. Massive stuff this year. Not getting up for the quin next year are you
i'm attemptinga quin in august...its a bit of a DIY type thing in Lincolnshire.......hopefully the flat bike and run should play to my strengths and make it doable unlike AT where the hills on the bike get to me after a while......
i thought the bike course wasnt that bad at enduro, just rolling - you wait till you get to lincolnshire, being flat is hard work, no free wheeling, no shelter from the wind and its boring as hell to look at

Is any one still going to this one?

Message from Donner at about 4 this morning
"My feet are trashed, didn't have time to sort them before race and paid for it by mile 15. Having a sleep now and ill run in the morning "
Looks like his feet are causing him grief today; from his splits I'd guess he's mostly walking.
Any more news on DK?
He's on lap 62 and still walking by the looks of it.
Linky thingy I hope
Guess he's trying to keep going for till the cutoff to use it as a lack of sleep training race now.
That's working Trogs, his determination is incredible.
Blimey! Speechless.
Lap 65. Can't imagine keeping going with bad feet on that course. Its not exactly smooth or flat.
Lap 83, stubborn bastard isnt he
Wow, Chapeau chap!!
Up to lap 87 now. Hang in there DK
Up to lap 91 now, seems to be getting faster too over the last couple of laps?!
Seren is is the fourth bike lap and looking strong.
Tracker not updated for a while.
Go seren
Go Dk
I'm wondering if DK has called it a day at 100 miles as he's not moved from 91 laps (the 100 distance) for a good while now.
