Or words to that effect, I had a letter this monrning, I got in on the second ballot 'cos I bequeathed. I've wanted to do this for so many years. Every year, I would sit comfortably in front of the telly and say , next year.......
Now it's real...........Oh 'eck.
My longest 'race'has been a ½M in Cardiff this year, I can't get up more than 10 minute miles, in fact, my long runs usually aveage around 11min or so, I may have a slight problem with my achilles, my right shin splints have reared their ugly head this past week, and I'M IN....
I am going to need a lot of help and support guys, I usually get a great deal of support by lurking around the threads but I can see me spending much more time posting and asking for help and advice.
I'm waffling again, and I have assignment to work on
Oh 'eck I'M IN.............
better find a hotel see you later guys

I've used it 3 times and if I get my place I'll probably use it again.
Good luck with the training.

Don't worry about your speed. Not many of us will be challenging Paula.
Of course LL, she could choose to run FLM in 5 hours dressed as Great Uncle Bulgaria to show what a great sport she is:)
Still no sign of cheque being cashed so looks like I will be falling back on my charity place
Good luck Caren!
I feel sooooooooo rejected
Have you had a rejection letter?
Enjoy the day. As its your first marathon don't get hung up buy time just enjoy the day. (plenty of time to get a PB at another marathon - erh like Abingdon - or maybe not in my case but thats another story)
Don't overdo the training nothing worse than spending the next couple of months in and out of the physio.
Check out my web site www.smithfamily.me.uk to see my story from my debut at FLM in 2002.
Also get your friends and family to take note of the URWFRC supporters point at mile 18. You will get a huge cheer for all the club if you register
Monday maybe?
