I have my first marathon in just under 2 weeks and did not really pay attention to my trainers during my run plan. My current trainers have logged 490 miles and I have about 30 miles left of my log. After realising I was close to the gospel 500 mile switch off point ( according to most blogs and articles on the net..) I bought a new pair. After getting advice as to what to do from a specialist in a running store I am still none the wiser?
So what do I wear..
A - Old trainers that would have logged 520 miles before the big day?
B - New trainers that would have logged 30 miles before the big day?Annoyed I put myself in this position in the first place as I know I should have been wearing trainers that were only halfway through their life! Thanks in advance!
