Hi All,
I have no pain in my heel at all but the inside of my sole is very sore and aggravated by any exercise and/or after period of inactivity (such as sitting at my desk!). It started on Saturday after a run, Body Pump and yoga.
I have flat feet and I overpronate. I wear Brooks Adrenaline GTS 11 (they are due to be replaced next month).
Any advice/feedback/suggestions most welcome.
Thanks

whenever I get tightness at the bottom of my feet I try and find something to roll under it. Such as placing a tennis ball (or golf ball) on the floor, and then just rolling my foot over it - trying to concentrate the effort where it hurts the most.
I would say that this works well for me to combat muscle soreness, and no idea what impact it would have on an actual injury.
if you have flat feet and overpronate i would suggest some foot strengthening exercises will help.
your arch muscles probably need a bit of a workout.
the tennis ball thing is good too
that sort of pain can also be caused by sore calf muscles
